I decided that the B/W-theme was a bit pretentious at the moment. The new title is an excerpt from "In the Devil´s Garden", a book about forbidden foods over the course of history. I recommend it!
I began my month of healthy changes by borrowing some books about food from my local library. One is on power foods and the other one about generic summertime food. Gala over at Icing found a very good piece on 10 ways to improve one´s health by Dumb Little Man. Very good, though it made me feel very silly, especially yesterday when I had both hotdogs at Ikea and a Tokyo Shrimp hamburger at Mcdonalds. White bread indeed... I´ll try to stick to the rye from now on. Though its intresting how different diets view different food categories. If you´ve ever tried the South Beach Diet, you know how it feels about carbs, while the power food book I got praises them. Guess there´s always many sides to every story.

Trying to up the health factor
I´ve gotten myself a steady sugar addiction this spring, due to a lot of stuff to do and moving. So I´ve decided on a plan for May, to reduce my sugar craving, limit my coffee drinking and try to eat a bit more healthy. Now, I´d be a fool to think I could do this all at once, but the sugar thing needs to go. My teeth aren´t the best quality as they are and loading up on sugar isn´t helping..
So, without further ado, here is my plan for May:
+ begin my new job and avoid the coffee break treats, ergo buy lots of fruit
+ correct my essay ( my last one before the big thesis-ordeal)
+ get some clarity about my clothing choices
+ find a healthy balance with tea and coffee
+ cut back on the booze-not that I´m an alcoholic, but I did sort of decide to quit when I finished my studies. I guess this counts as it.
This is already a lot, so I´ll stick with these for now :)

Continueing...
Moved away from a town I never really liked, ready to continue on my journey..
The trick is to see the big picture, right?
Or, if that fails, learn the mondai- song.
